I had a post from www.mallingrailtravellers.com. Good point that I should have brought up here before. People using West Malling/Kings Hill station have been completely stuffed by the timetable changes that leave them with no services to the City. What a nightmare. Twice when the services have been suspended I have had to go to [...] Is the bus lane system down at the station some sort of ‘honey trap’ for rail users from Kings Hill! It is incredibly hard to drive right around West Malling in order to get to the car park or station from Kings Hill and there is a very great temptation to override the one way/bus [...] There has been a sign up at the station for the past couple of years saying that more parking is coming and that Liberty has secured the land – so why no more work? The parish council say there is another strip that has come up and there might be some more progress in the [...] Kelly Warden, vice-chair of Kings Hill pre-school made the point that the parking is so limited at the Community Centre/Pre-school that it is getting dangerous. With different classes and meetings, often starting and ending at the same time, the pre-school parents are having to park at Asda or on the road and negotiate small children [...] |
