Waitrose Kings Hill is a brilliant piece of retail

Waitrose Kings Hill, Kent

It’s qbout as tasteful as you can get in a supermarket and constructed with the nearby Art Deco stye of the Control Tower in mind. Well done, it’s a nice store and a bit bigger than I was expecting. I like the fact that they invest back into the community too with their Community Matters scheme.

  • Looks fantastic and will attract other quality outlets to Kings Hill. Built in a matter of weeks and providing local jobs. Whats not to love.

Brilliant, a store you can run into, get what you want and be out again – literally in 5 minutes. True convenience. An impossibility in larger stores.

Good idea to correct the spelling in the sticky.

qbout, stye. The building is just a bigger copy of the wrecked tower behind it.

Had the best fun in there today – proper ‘bartering’ with the store manager who openly welcomed feedback! The big weekly shop will stop in our house….fresh ingredients every night – you can’t go wrong!!

Went in for a baking potato, nothing more, nothing less. None in stock.

My first visit, and first impressions count! I’ll go back, but not as quick as if they were in stock…

Great store. Better than going in Asda and queing for 15 minutes and messing about trying to find what they have moved again.

  • Graeme

@Macca: baking potatos, being of the larger variety, won’t fit down the narrow aisles!
